A cloth body with vinyl head and limbs keeps the weight down while holding the detail where it reads most — the face, hands and feet. It poses more naturally than an all-vinyl body and costs less than solid silicone.
Within this range the models differ more than the spec sheet suggests. Weight runs from 1,000 g (HF-01) to 1,200 g (HH-08) — a difference you feel the moment you pick the doll up. If you are choosing a model to hold, compare comfortable weight as well as appearance. For a child or care setting, also confirm age grading, secure components and cleaning requirements. Sizing guidance is on the newborn dolls page.
The kit differs by model too: 4 different accessory sets appear below, from a simple outfit and birth certificate to full feeding and bath sets. Tell us which models you are comparing and we will send the exact packing list for each.
20″ to 22″: fuller proportions, more weight, and the size that photographs as a sitting baby. If you would rather compare materials head to head, the silicone vs vinyl guide sets out the trade-offs plainly.
A cloth body with vinyl head and limbs is the easiest to live with. The vinyl wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; the cloth body should be surface-cleaned only and dried thoroughly before dressing. The whole doll is lighter to hold, which is why it is the one we recommend for children and for care settings.
