16" Vinyl Reborn Baby Dolls, Rooted Hair

All-vinyl construction is the workhorse of the category: light, durable, washable, and the most accessible on price. The trade-off is feel — vinyl reads firm and hollow next to silicone, which is why we are direct about who it suits.

Within this range the models differ more than the spec sheet suggests. Weight runs from 690 g (HH-1020-2) to 852 g (HF-11) — a difference you feel the moment you pick the doll up. If you are choosing a model to hold, compare comfortable weight as well as appearance. For a child or care setting, also confirm age grading, secure components and cleaning requirements. Sizing guidance is on the newborn dolls page.

The kit differs by model too: 2 different accessory sets appear below, from a simple outfit and birth certificate to full feeding and bath sets. Tell us which models you are comparing and we will send the exact packing list for each.

16″ to 18″ is the industry standard newborn scale, and the size we run most. If you would rather compare materials head to head, the silicone vs vinyl guide sets out the trade-offs plainly.

Vinyl is the low-maintenance option: water-washable, hard-wearing, and unaffected by most handling. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, dry thoroughly, and avoid prolonged direct sun to protect the paint. It is the material we specify for volume programmes and for anything that will be handled daily.
