A cloth body with vinyl head and limbs keeps the weight down while holding the detail where it reads most — the face, hands and feet. It poses more naturally than an all-vinyl body and costs less than solid silicone.
This is the only model we run at 16″ with painted hair in cloth-body vinyl. If it is close to what you want but not quite it, the sculpt can be adjusted through our custom programme — including hair, eye and mouth changes on the same body.
16″ to 18″ is the industry standard newborn scale, and the size we run most. If you would rather compare materials head to head, the silicone vs vinyl guide sets out the trade-offs plainly.
A cloth body with vinyl head and limbs is the easiest to live with. The vinyl wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; the cloth body should be surface-cleaned only and dried thoroughly before dressing. The whole doll is lighter to hold, which is why it is the one we recommend for children and for care settings.
